->Providence - Patricia A. (Fair) Smith, R.N., 81, died, Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry A. Smith.Born in Framingham, Mass., a daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (Deganne) Fair of Holliston, Mass., she had resided on Dexterdale Road in Providence for over 50 years. Mrs. Smith was a registered nurse at Miriam Hospital for over 25 years where she worked as a charge nurse in the recovery room, retiring in 1993. She was a graduate of Boston Children's Hospital School of Nursing.She is survived by her children, Harry A. Smith III of New London and partner, Susan Tamulevich of Branford, Edward A. Smith and wife, Jo-Ann, and Michael A. Smith, all of Providence; a brother, Joseph Deganne of Manchester; and her grandchildren, Andrew "Drew", Mathew, and Michael; and a great-granddaughter, McKenzie.She was the grandmother of the late Caitlin K. Smith and David A. Gray.Her funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, R.I. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River, Mass.
