JONES, Ora Anne (nee Kremer) Ora passed away peacefully at home on May 19th, 2010 with loving family by her side. She was born in Innisfail, Alberta on November 23rd, 1924. Predeceased by parents David and Mabel Kremer, brother Kenneth and sister Lois Robertson. Ora is survived by Allan, her loving husband and best friend of 64 years. She was a devoted mother to five children: Barbara Jones-Sofra (Jim) of Abbotsford, Deborah Meldram (Russell) of Kelowna, Patricia Jones of Victoria, David (Brenda) of Calgary and Beth Jones of Thorsby, Alberta. Ora is also remembered by granddaughter Crystal James (Shawn) and great grandson Cayleb of Calgary. Ora's family always came first and she cherished the time spent with each of them. Ora and Allan were long time members of the Victoria Lawn Bowling Club and together they bowled competitively and coached new members. She also enjoyed flowers, music and dancing. Ora will be remembered as a kind and gentle person, and a gracious lady. Her love and guidance will always be with us. A private family service will be held at a later date.
