Ollie Mae Youmans Jones, 51, of St. Augustine, born March 11, 1955, died Nov. 21, 2006, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Mrs. Jones was a native of St. Augustine and at an early age moved to Miami. She was a graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High School in 1973 and returned to St. Augustine after 14 years in Miami. She worked many jobs including Kitchen Collection, Wilson Leather and McDonald Corp., having recently retired from the Northeast Florida Community Action Agency here in St. Augustine. She attended New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Miami where she was baptized at an early age. She was currently a faithful member and warrior for Christ at Macedonia Holiness Church of St. Augustine where Elder Nathaniel Jackson, Jr., is pastor.Funeral services will be held 11:15 a.m. Saturday at New St. James Missionary Baptist Church, The Rev. Nathaniel Jackson, pastor, and The Rev. Nathaniel Jackson, pastor, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Calling hours are from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, West King Street, and from 10:15 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.She is survived by her sons, Brandon Swan, Florida State University, Tallahassee, and Antwan Youmans, St. Augustine; daughters, Shatwaylla Youmans-Roberts, Jacksonville and Antwanette Youmans, St. Augustine; one stepdaughter, LaTasha Beamon, Jacksonville; her mother, Fannie Mae Youmans, St. Augustine; brothers, Douglas (KuQueen) Youmans, Colorado Springs, Colo., Donnie (Anita) Youmans and Aubrey (Heather) Youmans, both of Miami, and Connielee (Doris) Youmans, Winston Salem, N.C.; sisters, Carolyn (Calvin) Horton, Pinedale, S.C., Gail (Bill) Williams, St. Augustine and Hope Smith, Miami; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. She is preceeded in death by her father, Lou R. Youmans. Coleman's Mortuary of Hastings is in charge of the arrangements.PAID NOTICE
