STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Ollie Mae Johnson, age 98, passed away on Wednesday, December 4th, at Westwood Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was a native of Effingham County, but spent most of her adult life in Bulloch County. She was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Mary Smith, Savannah, and Ollie Mae Campbell, Brooklet; a sister, Martha Reed, Jacksonville, Fla.; and a host of grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives.The funeral service for Mrs. Johnson will be held on Monday, December 9th, at 1 p.m. at Little Bethel Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. John T. McPhatter, officiating. Burial will be in Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.Public viewing will be on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.The remains will lie in state at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.James R.
