CLARKE, Olive - The Clarke family sadly announces the sudden passing of Olive Lavinia Clarke, much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Olive died suddenly on Friday, March 13, 2015 in Toronto. She was born in Trillick, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, trained in England as a nurse and moved to Toronto in 1954. She joined the staff at Riverdale Hospital and worked there until she retired in 1990. Olive is survived by her husband Ian, children Eileen and Michael (Debby), grandchildren Michelle and Jonathon, brother Charlie Stevenson (Doreen) and sister Iris (Wesley Crawford). Respecting her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Family and friends will gather later in the year to celebrate at a family event like the ones for which Olive is so fondly remembered. Olive will be greatly missed by everyone.
