ANDERSON, Olive (25 year member of St. Richard's ACW, member of Navan Women's Institute and long-time member of the Progressive Conservative Party) Olive enjoyed life! On Friday, July 25, 2003, Olive (Melvin) in her 95th year. Beloved friend, wife and companion for more than 65 years of the late Lloyd Anderson. Dear mother of Ona Spratt of Nepean and Allan (Judy) Anderson of Russell. Loving grandmother of Heather (Ron Brophy), Tracey Lee (Chris Griffith) and Kim Anderson and great-grandmother of Kyle, Dylan and Kevin. Daughter of the late Thomas and Letitia Melvin. Sister of the late Ernest, Emerson, Stuart, Serson and Winfield Melvin, Mable Webb and Mary Fisher. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home Chapel and Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday to St. James Anglican Church, Bridge Street, Manotick for Service at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation with inurnment to take place at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bearbrook, on Friday, August 1, 2003 at 10 a.m. Donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Victorian Order of Nurses would be most appreciated.
