Olin Delano Smith, 58, of 62 Wonderland Drive, husband of Wanda Bailey Smith, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital. Born in Pacolet, son of the late Lester and Dora Mae Chapman Smith, he was a retired plant manager with Constar, a Mason and Shriner and a member of the Laurens First Assembly of God. Surviving are his wife, Wanda Bailey Smith of the home; three sons, Major Dee Smith-Rosser of California, Jeffery D. Smith of South Dakota, Travis Smith of North Carolina; one daughter, Crystal Gallegoe of Las Vegas, N.M.; two stepsons, Damon D'Antonio of Hickory Tavern, Anthony D'Antonio of Albany, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Josephine J. Snow of Laurens; five brothers, John G. Smith, Ernest Smith, Paul Smith all of Spartanburg, Charles Smith of North Carolina, David Smith of Charleston; one sister, Gwen Harvey of Waterloo; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Laurens First Assembly of God, conducted by the Revs. R.D. Parker and James Hamilton, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family will be at the home, 62 Wonderland Drive, and will receive friends at Kennedy Mortuary on Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
