JOHNSON Olga "Annie" (nee Alfaro), 58, of Clifton, passed away on Aug. 27, 2013. Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, Mrs. Johnson came to the United States in 1967. She resided in Paterson before moving to Clifton in 1990 where she resided since. Annie was employed as a Spanish Teacher with the Demarest Board of Education in Demarest, NJ. She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and was very involved in the Languages and Cultures Department at William Paterson University. Annie enjoyed entertaining and family parties. She was the magnet of her family who brought everyone together. Annie is survived by her beloved husband, Pierre Bruce Johnson; her three devoted children, Christian, Tim and Jennifer Johnson, all of Clifton; her loving parents, Nelson and Vera (nee Molleda) Alfaro of Costa Rica; and her dear brothers, Jorge, Nelson, Maurice and Gardner Amed Alfaro. Funeral services will be Saturday 12 noon at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Cremation will be private. Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Saturday morning from 11 AM-12 noon.
