Funeral services for Norman "Bubba" Thomas Wrenn, III, 57, will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010, at First United Methodist Church, 118 King St., St. Augustine, Fla., with the Rev. Pat Turner Sharpton and the Rev. Clifford Mattox, officiating. Interment will follow in Craig Memorial Park in St. Augustine. Bubba was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church in St. Augustine for the past 16 years. He served his country proudly in the Army National Guard for eight years. Bubba made his career in the grocery industry for over 40 years working for Winn-Dixie, Food Lion, Albertson's and most recently was employed by Publix. Bubba had a life-long passion for the game of baseball and softball, umpiring for 18 years in Jacksonville Umpires Association and River City Umpires Association, serving on the board of directors. He also enjoyed coaching baseball and Pop Warner football. Bubba will be remembered as a devoted family man, that was hard working, and had an incredible talent for calling pitches across the plate. He was predeceased by his mother, Beverly Wrenn; his father, Norman T. Wrenn Jr.; and his sister, Sandra Devey. Bubba is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Janet Higgs Wrenn; son, Jason Ulrickson and his wife, Heather, of St. Augustine; two daughters, Lindsay Johnson and her husband, Michael, of St. Augustine, and Tracey Rodriguez and her husband, Joel of Indian Trail, N.C.; four grandchildren, Seth and Grace Ulrickson, Jakob Rodriguez, and Brooke Johnson; and many other loving family members and friends. Bubba touched the lives of many over the years and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 11, 2010, from 4 to 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 118 King St., St. Augustine, Fla. Arrangements by Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL.
