She was born in Monroeville, AL and graduated from Excel High School in Excel, AL. She was granted a scholarship and attended college in Mobile, AL.Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Williams; her mother and father, Ms. Lola and Mr. Robert Fountain of Monroeville, AL, her siblings, Kenneth, Bobby and Willie D. Fountain, and Evelyn Harrison.She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Rapp and Paula Huckaby and a grandson, Patrick Aaron Rapp and her sister Ms. Betty (James) Hooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and is loved and will be missed by many of her lifelong friends.Norma was retired from civil service and afterwards continued her civic activities. She was an original member of Pensacola Dancing Grannies and loved to dance, perform and make people smile. She was also an avid reader and bridge player and a member of the Pensacola Bridge club; she enjoyed social groups; the Red Hat club, the Halo's and numerous other activities. Norma loved flowers, played the piano and loved music especially attending concerts by the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra. She enjoyed nature, the beach, and bird watching. She is a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at 2pm Friday, April 20, 2012 with Funeral services beginning at 3pm from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd. in Pensacola, FL. Rev. Connie Ragghianti, Pastor of Congregational Care from Cokesbury United Methodist Church will be officiating.
