NORMA LUCILLE SNYDER FT. WAYNE, IN Norma Lucille Snyder (nee Gentz), age 92, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born September 10, 1917 in Somers, WI to Fred and Anna Gentz. In 1923 she moved with her family to Valparaiso, IN. Norma graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1936. In 1937 at the First Baptist Church in Valparaiso, she married Clelland Snyder of New Haven, IN. Survivors include sons James (Karen) of Keller, TX and Thomas (Becky) of Warsaw, IN; daughter-in-law Paula Snyder of Ft. Wayne; sisters LaVerne Gustafson of Valparaiso and Marjorie (Elmer) Johnson of Liberty Township as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clelland, a son, Michael, her brother, Wallace Gentz, a sister, Irene Foster, and brother-in-laws, Elwood Gustafson and Kenneth Foster. Services were held at New Haven United Methodist Church on June 7 with viewing prior to the service with Rev. Rich Taylor officiating. Burial was in New Haven Cemetery.
