JOHNSON, Norma Jeanne, died peacefully at her home Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Jeanne was born in Milburn, Ill., April 26, 1932, the daughter of Leona Mae and William Earle Slocum. She lived her last 35 years in the Tampa Bay area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Darlene and Jeannette; and her husband, Alan Johnson. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Stowers (Dan) of Hendersonville, N.C.; son, Joseph Krusa (Patti) of Beach Park, Ill., and son, Vance Krusa (Sheila) of Tampa; step-daughter, Tracy Formica; grandchildren, Logan, Brittney, Adam, Cristiana, G, Alexa, Jaime and Megan; and many nieces and nephews; sisters, Lois Kassel and Joann Baker.Jeanne was an avid sports fan, voracious reader, and a crossword puzzle enthusiast, who loved to travel and having her family around her. A graveside service will take place at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Bay Pines National Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 3:30- 7:30 p.m. that afternoon at the home of V. Krusa.
