OKE, Norma Eileen - Age 77 of Petrolia passed away Wednesday October 1, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Dresden daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Bear) Davis. Predeceased by her husband George McQuarrie Oke (2008). Surviving are three daughters Linda and Bob Hedden of Wallaceburg, Sandra and Neil Marchand of Dresden and Dianne and Larry DeFraeye of Dresden, one son Ken and Laura Lee Smith of Dresden, stepchildren Warren and Karrie Oke of Sarnia and Donna Marie Shipp and Brian Holt of Fort Erie, sister-in- law Donna Oke of Pike's Bay. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Joan Davis, Sharon Zak and sister-in-law Vickie Davis, one brother Robert “Hook” Davis and brothers-in-law Joe Zak and Neil Oke. Cremation has taken place. Visitors will be received at the THOMAS L. DEBURGER FUNERAL HOME 620 Cross St. Dresden Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home Saturday October 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dave Hewitt officiating. Interment of cremains in Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and may be made by cheque and left at the funeral home.
