Norma R. Anderson Munster/ Hammond Norma R. Anderson, age 88, of Munster, formerly of Hammond, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005 at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville. She is survived by one son, George W. Anderson of Missouri; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many friends, including Marjorie Jones of Munster. Preceded in death by her husband, George W. Anderson; daughter, Kathleen Knocke; one brother and one sister. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Jack Hyles Memorial Auditorium, 523 Sibley, Hammond with Dr. Johnny Colsten, officiating. Entombment will follow at Memory Lane Memorial Park in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Norma was a member of First Baptist Church for 36 years, a member of the Ladies Phoster Club, Women's Missionary Society and the Africa Circle. She taught Sunday School in the Beginner 2 Dept. for 25 years. She drove for teenage soul winning on Saturday mornings for many years.
