Nora-Louise Rogers, née en 1909, conjointe de Marven Beaumont, fille de John et Eva, mère de Gertrude, Steve, Claude, Ralph, Lewis, Mona et Beverley, est décédée le 18 août 2003 à l'âge de 94 ans.
Nora Louise Beaumont 1909-2003 Nora Louise Beaumont, 94, of Edgett's Landing passed away on August 18, 2003 unexpectedly at the Moncton City Hospital. Nora was born in Hopewell Hill, NB on July 23, 1909, the daughter of the late John and Eva (Govang) Rogers. She was a housewife and mother. Nora was an active member of the Valley Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Women's Missionary Society and was also a lifetime member of the Edgett's Landing Women's Institute. She was a very valued member of the community always participating in bake sales and always willing to give a hand when needed. Nora had a special sweet way about her, ready with a smile for everyone. Above all she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life. She was a very special lady who will be missed by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her loving daughters, Beverley Copp (Donald) of Edgett's Landing and Mona Beckwith (Ralston) of Munster, Ontario; also by her 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Marven Beaumont; three sons, Lewis, Ralph, Claude; two foster children, Steve MacAllister and Gertrude Bannister; sister Lavangie Snider; brother Joseph Rogers. The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Valley Baptist Church on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 2pm with Rev. Kevin Mahoney officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends in the church Fellowship Center for further fellowship and refreshments. Interment will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing. In lieu of flowers donations to the Valley Baptist Church Building Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
