Nora-I. Mitchell, née en 1922, conjointe de Tony Mitchell, est décédée le 19 mai 2013. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
MITCHELL, Nora I. February 23, 1922 - May 19, 2013 Our dear Mom passed away peacefully after a 3 year struggle with Alzheimers. Predeceased by her husband Tony in 2005, she leaves her 2 daughters, Lee (David) in Nanoose and Susan in Burnaby, 4 grandchildren, Alex, Sarah, Elizabeth and Corinne, and 2 great-grandchildren, London and Nigel all of Vancouver. She was born in Calgary and moved to Vancouver where she met Tony. They settled in Metchosin in 1951 and later in Victoria. Nora worked 25 years for B.C. Hydro. On retiring she spent over 20 years as a volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary at RJH. We wish to express our sincere thanks to the caring staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village for their excellent care. No funeral at Mom's request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
