Nora Elizabeth Stewart, 98, Sarasota, died Aug. 19, 2006. She was born Aug. 25, 1907, in Ironton, Ohio, and came to Sarasota 44 years ago from Fayette County, W.Va. She was a bookkeeper for A&P for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sarasota. Survivors include daughters Frances A. Durham of Killeen, Texas, Pat R. Hager of Tulsa, Okla.; and Carolyn S. Relly of McLean, Va.; a son, William H. II of Charleston, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the service following, at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 1661 Main St., Sarasota, FL 34236.
