SCOTTSBURG - Jenkins, Nora B., 77, died Thursday, October 27, 2011. She was a retired dispatcher from the Scott County Sheriff's Dept. and also a former assistant manager and cashier for the Shell Oil Company in Henryville, IN. Nora was a member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church and the Diabetic Support Group of the American Diabetes Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollie O. Jenkins, II; a brother, Clarence Mummert; and a grandson, Bobby Moody. Survivors include a son, Hollie O. Jenkins, III; three daughters, Mabel Elaine McKillip, Dorthea Sturgeon and Linda F. Terrell; a brother, James Mummert; two sisters, Judy Smith and Lois Beatty; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Sunday at Collins Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church.
