Rayle - Nita Jane "Janie" Miller, 87, passed away November 11, 2008.A native of Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Hiram Newton Manus and the widow of Robert Mason Miller. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 3 PM at Redstone United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 until 2 PM at the funeral home.Survivors include two children, Benny Mason Miller of Evans and Nita Dean Doolittle of Rayle; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made your local Humane Society.Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
