ANDERSON, Nellie Pearl May - Peacefully at home in London, Ontario on December 24th, 2008 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Lachlan McCarter Anderson (d. 1997), loving mother of Shirley Alice and Fazl Mohyuddin. She was born in Humboldt, SK on April 11th, 1921 to Gladys Cora VanVolkenburg and Davis Stephen Robinson. Loved by sister Cora of Belleville, On (Albert Wallbridge (d. 1992), Harry VanVolkenburg (d. 2005), half-sister Evelyn Secord and Delbert (d. 2003) of Westbank, BC and half-brother Harold Robinson and Darlene of Innuvik, NT, brother-in-law Angus Orser and Helen (d. 2007) of Trenton, ON, brother-in-law Sanford Wagler and Iva (d.2005) of Kitchener, ON. Predeceased by Nellie's brothers and sisters: Iva Wagler (d.2005) and Muriel Turner (d.2001), brother Ivan Robinson (d.1992) and half-brother Gordon Robinson (d.2006). Predeceased by Lachlan's brothers and sisters: Helen Oser (d.2007), and Helen's twin Howard Anderson (d.1988), Evelyn Thompson (d.1994), Joseph Anderson (d.1977), Norman Anderson (d.1968) and Katherine Anderson (d.1934). Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at Elmwood Cemetery, north of Belleville, ON, July 11th, 2008. We are thankful for over 6 years of medical care by Dr. P. Cordy and staff and the nurses of the Adam Linton Dialysis unit of the London Health Sciences Centre. We are also thankful for homecare from VON and the Saint Elisabeth Health Care Services.
