Nellie Mae Mims Sullivan, age 83, of 135 Brockman Drive, Greenville, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville County, shewas the daughter of the late Norton and Sunnie Fleming Mims. Mrs. Sullivan was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Frances Mims Arnold; and a brother, Norton Mims Jr. Surviving are three daughters, Virginia Catherine Sullivan Brooks (Tommie Sr.), Carmel Sullivan Johnson (David), and Emma Marie Sullivan Owens (Levonia), all of Greenville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three nephews; two nieces; and one godchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at 3 p.m., at Lowndes Hill Baptist Church, with burial at the church cemetery, with Eastern Star Rites. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dr. N.J. Brockman, presiding, and the Rev. Dr. Edward D. Brantley officiating. The family is at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Levonia Owens Sr., 5 York Circle, Greenville. - Clark's Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
