Nellie Mae Davis, 74, of Hoschton, died Sunday, May 16, 2010. Born in Hendersonville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Hilliard T. and Thersa Sanders Stewart. She was married to the late Olin Thomas (Tommy) Davis and was also preceded in death by son, Harold Howard, and daughter, Cindy Levy. She was retired from the Holsenbeck Elementary School lunchroom. Survivors are her sons and daughter-in-law, Harry and Arlene Howard of Snellville, Norman Howard of Hoschton and Buddy Davis of Kansas City, Kansas; daughters and son-in-law, Judy and Ricky Hewatt of Hoschton, Debbie Davis of Winder and Debbie Howard of Pennsylvania; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Masters of Punta Gorda, Fla. Services will be Wednesday, May 19, at 2 p.m. in Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Randy Coggins officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Smith Funeral Home has charge of the service.
