MILLER, Neil K.Neil K. Miller, 60, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on June 23, 2014 at Palms West Hospital with his family present. He was born December 15, 1953 in Reed City, MI, to Jack and Joan (Bull) Miller. He spent most of his life in Michigan before relocating to Singer Island, FL, where he graduated from Suncoast High School in 1972. Neil was a family man; he was a loving father and grandfather. In 1976, he married Karen Staples; they were married for 23 years and raised two daughters. He devoted 22 years of his life to his career at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, before retiring. Neil was a private pilot and a man of many hobbies, most passionate about building hot rods, restoring antique Chris Craft wooden boats, and flying his Cessna 170 tail-dragger. You could always find Neil "tinkering" on his newest project. He loved spoiling his pugs, cooking, reading, riding Harleys, listening to music, attending church, and anything that involved helping others. He is survived by his daughters Tracey Miller and Michelle (Evan) Brown, granddaughter Madison Mae Brown, brothers Scott (Janette) Miller and Jeffrey (Judy) Miller, sister Tamara (Mark) Carlson, special friend Linda Feldner, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 26th at the Fern House, 1958 Church St, West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
