JOHNSON, Neil Donald February 25, 1936 - February 13, 2008 Neil passed away at the Misericordia Hospital after a short battle with cancer at the age of 71 years. Neil was the loving, devoted husband of Karen for nearly 50 years. He is survived by his son Christopher (Marianne), daughters: Leeora (John) Shearer and Neela (Brent) Oleksiw, eight grandchildren: Bethany, Amanda, Cynthia and Andrew Johnson, Don and Caitlin Shearer, Donavin and Ashley Oleksiw, Sham Naidu and family. He was predeceased by his son Kenneth; daughter Pamela; parents James and Margaret Johnson; brother James and sister Shirley Karlowsky. Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2008 at St. Andrew's United Church (1A Fieldstone Drive) Spruce Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 1Z2 or the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation 8440 - 112 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 9Z9 or to the charity of one's choice.
