BEDFORD -- Neil E. Miller, 78, died July 29, 2009, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, surrounded by his family. He was born March 12, 1931, in Wilton, to Mary and LeRoy Miller. He was educated in the Nashua-Hudson schools. He served in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was employed for more than 30 years with PSNH/Northeast Utilities, having retired from the position of director of division operations. During his career he was an active member of the Manchester and Nashua Rotary Clubs, had been the director of the United Way of Greater Nashua and the director of the Southern NH Association of Commerce and Industry. Upon retirement he continued to enjoy his lifelong hobbies of golf, woodworking, landscaping and time spent with family. Family members include his wife of 58 years, Barbara J. (Campbell) Miller; two daughters, Kathleen Fortier and Nancy J. Miller; a brother Paul Miller of Hollis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
