ALEXANDER, Neil GrahamApril 12, 1931 - July 1, 2012Died peacefully at the May Court Hospice at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Barbara (Savage) for 56 years. Father of Steven (Barbara Argue) and Margaret (Andre Auger). Predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Olive Alexander of Hawthorne, and his brother Morley. Survived by his sister Elizabeth (Russell McAllister), sister-in-law Elsie Able and several nieces and nephews. Neil loved Steven and Barbara's dog (Tempi) and cats (Mordecai, Nimitz, Devlin and Gibbs) like grandchildren. For 38 years he was an active member of the 410 RCAF William Barker V.C. Wing. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Andrew Mai and the staff and volunteers at the Hospice at May Court for their compassionate care. Friends may pay respects at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6 to 9 and Friday from 10 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Sacred Space of Beechwood National Memorial Centre on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice at May Court, 114 Cameron Ave., Ottawa, Ontario K1S 3B8.
