ANNISTON — Funeral service for Nannie Mae Brown, age, 92 of Anniston, will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Golden Springs Baptist Church. Dr. Roland Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. today, December 13, 2009 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. Mrs. Brown passed away on Saturday, Dec 12, 2009 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. She was an active member of Golden Springs Baptist Church and retired after 28 years from Anniston Army Depot. After retirement, she volunteered at the local Social Security Office and as a Pink Lady at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by a son, Roger Douglas Brown; her parents, John Henry & Jessie Pollock Morgan; and her sister, Willie Morgan Lusk. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Marshal Brown of Anniston; daughter-in-law, Brenda Brown of Anniston; two granddaughters, Amanda Thompson and her husband, Josh, of Fayetteville, Ga., and Emily Doss, of Anniston; two great-grandchildren, Madison Doss and Kelsey Doss; a niece, Vivian Love; three nephews, Morgan Lusk, Tony Lusk, and Mike Lusk; three sisters-in-law, Dorthy Clarkson and her husband, Robert, Martha Reaves, and Mae Brown; and a brother-in-law, Huey Brown and wife, Kay. Pallbearers will be nephews.
