Nancy Carolyn Ervin Moore, 71, of 114 Batson Ave., died Wednesday, May 19, 2004. Widow of Walter O. Moore Jr., she was born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late John and Ruth McTindal Ervin. Mrs. Moore was activities director at Stroud Nursing Home until her retirement and was a member of Foothills Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Susan Campbell and Bobby of Berea, and Tracey Tate and husband, Scott, of Travelers Rest; grandchildren, Jimmy Campbell, Alicia Clardy, Justin Tate and Emily Moore; great-grandchildren, Jay and Dillon Campbell and Karen and Madison Clardy; a brother, Milton Ervin; and sisters, Margaret Turner, Alma Dodson, Betty Epps and Patricia Hightower. She was predeceased by a son, Walter Timothy Moore; and a brother, William Ervin. Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Visitation will be at the funeral home, prior to the service, from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park. Family members are at 200 Pine Meadow Drive, Travelers Rest. Memorials may be made to Foothills Baptist Church, 1204 Highway 25 North, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
