Dodge-Jordan, Nancy K. GUILDERLAND Nancy K. Dodge-Jordan, 60, died on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Albany Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Albany, Nancy lived in Averill Park and Guilderland after graduating from the Albany school system. She was employed by the Freihofer's Baking Co., as a master cake decorator and baker for 38 years until the time of her illness. Nancy enjoyed taking long rides through Saratoga and upstate New York, shopping and giving to all she loved and cherished. She loved spending time at Saratoga Race Course during the summer and also loved music and going to concerts. Her favorite was always Rod Stewart. Nancy also loved taking long vacations to spend time in Florida with her two granddaughters. She was the beloved wife of James Jordan Jr. of Guilderland; mother of James Jordan III of Albany, John E. Dodge of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and William Dodge of Guilderland; and grandmother of Hannah and Kelsi Dodge of New Smyrna Beach. Nancy's family would also like to acknowledge and give special thanks to MaryAnn Casey, T.J. Dorato and the staff at Albany Medical Center E3 wing. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Christ the King Church. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Magin & Keegan Funeral Home, 891 Madison Ave., on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at the funeral home at 4:30 p.m., on Monday for a service of prayer and remembrance, all are welcome to attend.
