Nancy Jean Scott February 16, 1963 - March 22, 2011 Fallon, NV - Nancy Jean Scott, 48, formerly of Norwich, went to be with her Lord on March 22, 2011. She was born in Boston, Mass. on Feb. 16, 1963, the daughter of the late Donald W. Scott and the late Pauline M. (Gerner) Scott. Nancy held several positions in various school systems over the years before retiring due to her illness. Her students brought her great joy in life. She was a dedicated member of the Preston City Congregational Church where she made many lifelong friends. Nancy is survived by her brothers David Scott of Moosup and Wayne Scott of Oakdale, and her sisters, Laura Butcher of Fallon, NV and Donna McGovern of Rochester, NH. She is also survived by her nieces Jennifer, Michelle, Vikki, and Kristeen and her nephews Seth and Craig. Her great niece, Elise and great nephew, Kevin, also survived her. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Lilly and her cats, Snuggles and Mocha. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5th, at the Preston City Congregational Church, 321 Rte. 164, Preston. Burial of her cremains will follow in the Preston City Cemetery.
