Nancy HortonNancy Horton, age 82, of Sheffield, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Sheffield and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Horton, son, Keith Longcrier, two brothers, and three sisters.Her family will receive friends Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Byron Longcrier officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.She is survived by her sons, Mike Longcrier (Dianne), Rickey Longcrier (Pam), and Randy Longcrier; daughter, Cindy Alexander (Donny); daughter-in-law, Cindy Longcrier; sisters, Betty Giardini (Bill), Mary Ruth Whittaker, and Helen Whitlock; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be family and friends.An online guest registry is available at morrisonfuneralhomes.com.
