MANCHESTER - Nancy Cate Harris was born on Aug. 14, 1931, to Paul and Francis Cate. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 26, 2013, after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Cliff Harris; her son, Paul Cate; and her daughter, Cheryl Rieper. Nancy was well-known in Manchester as the office manager of the dental practice of Nick and Chris Skaperdas. Nancy ran the office from 1962 until her retirement in 2000. During that time, she developed relationships with hundreds of patients, their children and grandchildren. She knew most, if not all, by name. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with, especially her extended family, as well as everyone who worked with her in the Skaperdas office. . services: A celebration of Nancy's full life will be held at the Cate & Johnson Funeral Home , 573 Pine Street, on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m.
