DALTON, Nancy Hamner Age 68, passed away on March 25, 2012 in the company of her four children and best friend. Nan is survived by her daughters, Amy Fitzgerald, Lynn Senter, Ashley Flippin; her son, Ryan Dalton; her nine grandchildren, Ciara Fitzgerald, Aidan Fitzgerald, Lilah Fitzgerald, Sydney Senter, Lauren Senter, Henry Flippin, Matthew Flippin, James Dalton, Slater Dalton; her sister, Mary Anne Copley; brother, Wade Hamner, and her beloved dog, Gentry. Nan was born on May 20, 1943 in Amelia County, VA to Thomas Wade Hamner and Annie Virginia Simmons. She loved tennis, traveling and spending time with family and friends and will be remembered for her tremendous and unselfish heart. Nan was active in her Passages Sunday school class at Brentwood United Methodist Church where services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 12 p.m. There will be a visitation with her family from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church.
