<!-- FH = LEWIS, JONATHAN --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->LEWIS, Nancy Farrell 75, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, as she lived, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Karin; her son, Jonathan, and his wife, Nicole; brother, Dick Farrell; her beloved granddaughters, Avery and Emma; and countless friends. Nancy was born May 2, 1939, in Freeport, NY. She graduated from Freeport, High School, Long Island, NY and attended the former Stratford College, Danville, VA. and the University of North Carolina, but was an Alabama Crimson Tide fan. She met the love of her life, Don Lewis, in The Hamptons, NY, and they married in 1964. The couple was inseparable until Don died in 2007. Nancy and Don moved to the Tampa Bay area in the late 1960s and established a tight-knit circle of friends Nancy laughed with and loved for more than 40 years. Similarly, Nancy made dear friends while the family lived in Asheville from 1985 to 1997. The singular blessing of Nancy's untimely passing was that so many of her beloved longtime friends were able to spend time with Nancy in her waning days. That is a remarkable gift the family appreciates more than words can say. Nancy was a professional recruiter and an amateur golfer and bridge-player. More importantly, she was a phenomenal cook, an amazing mother, a selfless friend, an awesome grandmother and a classic bon vivant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Nancy's name to Church of the Ascension, Clearwater, Suncoast Hospice or the Children's Dream Fund.
