Nancy Ellen Lambert Boonville Nancy Ellen Lambert, 55, of Hurlbut St., passed away, at her residence while in the loving presence of her family and care giver, on Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was born on December 30, 1954, in Buchannon, West Virginia, a daughter of Gerald L. and Nancy L. Vankirk Lambert. Nancy grew up in West Virginia and then in Holcomb, NY, where she completed her education at Bloomfield Central School, later earning her GED while serving in the US Air Force. In September, 1979, Nancy entered the U.S. Air Force, where she attended electrical school and was employed as an electrician in building construction. In 1980, she was honorably discharged from Williams Air Force Base at Chandler, AZ. Prior to that, Nancy was severely injured in an accident and officially retired from her career in the Air Force in 1981. Afterwards, she moved to Boonville where she lived with her mother and stepfather. She is survived by her mother, Nancy L. Langkans, and her stepfather, Gerald A. Langkans, both of Boonville; two brothers, Gerald L. Lambert, Jr., Marcy, and Ronald E. Lambert; and one sister, Cynthia L. Langkans. Relatives and friends are invited to visit her family at their residence at 8 Hurlbut St. on Friday, December 3, from 2-4 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
