Mrs. Edwards was born on September 22, 1936 in Bronwood, Georgia to George and Alletha Wise. She has been married to George C. Edwards for 54 years. Mrs. Edwards graduated from St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida as a registered nurse in 1957 and retired from Escambia County Nursing Home as The Assistant Director of Nursing in 1993.Surviving Mrs. Edwards is her husband; George C. Edwards, her son; Marty Edwards (Debbie), her daughters; Darci Edwards Cobb and Tracy Edwards Flota (Mike), 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment with Rev. John Kuritz officiating.
