ALLENSTOWN - Nancy D. Jackson, 59, of Allenstown, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, following a brief illness. Her loving husband was by her side.Nancy was born in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, Canada on March 30, 1954, the daughter of the late Olson and Florence (Brown) Lewis. She was raised in Husdon, Mass. and educated in area schools.Nancy spent 14 years as the Administrative Assistant at United Church of Penacook and five years as the Administrative Assistant at First Congregational Church of Pembroke. She was a deeply spiritual woman and a loving wife and mother.Nancy is survived by her husband of 13 years, Thomas W. Jackson of Allenstown; daughter, Jessica D. Knowlton of Franklin; grandchildren, Mikaela M. Harasko and Matthew A. Knowlton; stepdaughters, Bridget Cusson of Milan and Felicia Jackson of Sanbornton; brother, Richard Lewis of Brookline; sister, Sharon Howe of Mesa, Ariz.; and her former husband and close friend, Harold O. Harasko of Concord.A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 4th, at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church of Pembroke, 301 Pembroke St.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Nancy's memory be made to First Congregational Church, 301 Pembroke St. in Pembroke, 03275.Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Boscawen office, is assisting the family with arrangements.
