->WOOD, NANCY C. (MCCORMACK)Nancy C. (McCormack) Wood, age 49 of Marstons Mills passed away April 21, 2011 at Cape Cod Hospital. Surrounded by family, Nancy fought a courageous battle with thyroid cancer.Nancy is survived by her two adoring and beloved children Caylee and Alexander Wood, her mother Jean McCormack of Mashpee and her late father, Gilbert E. McCormack, brother Gilbert E. McCormack ,Jr. of Rutland, VT, sister Cynthia J. Herlihy and her husband Daniel Herlihy of Mashpee, twin brother Robert A. McCormack of Plymouth and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was a graduate of Tappan Zee High School, Orangeburg, NY and Centenary College, Hackettstown, NJ. Nancy derived the greatest enjoyment from her children, walks on the beach and making floral arrangements and she will be greatly missed.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 Main Street, Centerville on Wednesday, April 27 at 10 am. Visiting hours in the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road (Route 28), Marstons Mills on Tuesday from 6-8 pm. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
