SPARTANBURG, SC-- Nancy Correll Edwards, 75, of 305 N. Pinelake Court, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.Born December 20, 1929, in Winston-Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late Council and Virginia Weddle Correll. She was a member of the Thomasboro High School Class of 1947, and a part-time employee of Pettite Construction. Ms. Edwards was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church.Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark S. and Mary Ann Edwards of Marietta, GA; granddaughters, Jessica and April Edwards of Marietta, GA; grandson Travis Rushton of Travelers Rest, SC; sisters, Betty Sue Rohen of Huntersville, NC, Margaret Luther of Mount Ulla, NC, and Virginia Correll of Charlotte, NC. She was predeceased by a son, Michael L. Edwards.The family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2005 at her home; and also 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2005 at Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church, conducted by Pastor B. Gene Baker. Committal will be 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Holy Communion Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1430 John B.
