Nancy Ann Robinson DOVER - Nancy Ann Robinson, 73, of Glenwood Avenue, formerly of Durham and Barrington as well as Groveland, Mass., passed peacefully on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. She was very happy to have spent the last two weeks of her life in the south with her family. Born April 9, 1939 in Haverhill, Mass., she was the daughter of George H. and A. Nancy (Ordway) Harrison, and the wife of William F. Robinson, whom she married on Aug. 20, 1961 in Groveland. She graduated from Haverhill High School in 1957, received a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from the University of New Hampshire in 1962, and her Masters in Education from Plymouth State University in 1990. Nancy went on to be mom to two boys, George and Mark, and to teach in the Newmarket school system for 30 years. She retired in the spring of 1996. She spent a few years working with TTLC Internet service company in Dover, followed by several years creating and grading school assessment testing materials at Measured Progress, also in Dover. Nancy loved traveling in her 5th wheel camper with the Good Sam Roadrunners camping group and spending time with her husband Bill at their camp on Moosehead Lake in Maine. She was a long time member of Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Matron for John Williams Chapter in Dover. She was twice a Grand Officer, serving as Grand Adah and Grand Organist. Most currently, she was a member of Crescent Chapter #45. During the last few years, Nancy enjoyed activities with the Barrington Belles Red Hat Society, the group at Newmarket Senior Center, Dover Widows Group and Rochester Good Ole Sports. Her remaining family includes: son George Robinson and his wife Jackie, grandchildren Lauren, Cliff and Jordan; granddaughter Renee Dawn Boucher; son Mark Robinson and Bonnie Avery, granddaughter Cierra; sister-in-law Susan White and her husband Bob; two special nieces, Julie Herod and Christine Smith and their families. Her husband Bill passed in 2010, and her family takes comfort in knowing Nancy is reunited with her heart's greatest love.
