JACKMAN -- Nancy Ann (Pelletier) Belanger, 71, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at home with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 7, 1940, in Waterville, the daughter of George Napoleon and Andrenette (Veilliux) Pelletier.She was educated in Waterville area schools and in August 1961 married Raymond Belanger Aug. 5, 1961. She became a certified nurse's aide and was employed at Mount St. Joseph's nursing home. Nancy was a member of St. Theresa Notre Dame Church and had many hobbies and interests, including knitting, sewing, and especially loved taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren.Nancy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond Belanger; four daughters, Deanna Clark of Derry, N.H., Christina Rossignol of Old Canada, Maine, Joline Belanger of Jackman, and Terri Harrington of Limington; and a son, Randall Belanger of Exmouth, Western Australia.A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Silver Street in Waterville, with interment at St. Frances Cemetery following the service.In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make a donation in Nancy's memory to www.alsa.org/donate/corporations-and-foundations.html.
