SMITH, NELLIE JEAN (WOOLEY) Nellie Jean (Wooley) Smith, age 82, of Midfield, Alabama went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was born in Yolande, Alabama. Mrs. Smith is preceded by her parents, Frank and Burwell Wooley. She is survived by her husband, John Harold Smith; two sons, David Wayne Smith and Robert Forrest Smith (Sharon). She is also survived by two grandchildren, Kristin A. Smith and Robert Brandon Smith. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 2 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation to Makeway Partners of Birmingham. >
