Nancy-Broome Jackson, conjointe de Harold-C. Jackson, fille de Joseph et Gladys-McCain, est décédée à l'âge de 69 ans.
JACKSON, NANCY Nancy Broome Jackson, 69, of 103 Westridge Drive, died Friday, June 24,2005, at Riverside Nursing Center. Born in Englewood, NJ, a daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys McCain Broome, Mrs. Jackson graduated from Nyack High School in NY, attended the University of Maryland and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Fairleigh-Dickinson University in New Jersey where she belonged to the Phi Zeta Kappa Honor Society. She retired as promotion/ production manager for Seventeen Magazine in New York City. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Greenville where she started a healing prayer group. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Jackson was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Nyack, NY, where she was a member of the Altar Guild and was an adult advisor to the Episcopal Youth Fellowship. After returning to Nyack, she became very active in the Ministry of Persons with Disabilities as a lay minister, and conceived, wrote and published a newsletter for the Ministry. Surviving are her husband, Harold C. Jackson, Jr., of the home; a brother, J. Robert Broome, Jr., of Jacksonville, FL; and a sister, E. Jane Broome of the home. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Church of the Redeemer Episcopal.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of the Redemmer, 120 Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC 29605. The family is at the residence. Robinson Funeral Home-Powderville Road, Easley, SC, is assisting the family with arrangements.
