Nancy Ann Smith WOODRUFF, SC-- Nancy Ann Smith, 48, formerly of 119 Gateview Circle, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Courtyard Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Asheville, NC. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of Rachel Leopard Smith of Woodruff and the late Harold Smith. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. Surviving are her fiancee, Dan King of Asheville; one daughter, Tina Hood of Fort Walton Beach, FL; one son, William Hood of Landrum, SC; and one sister, Brenda Edwards of Landrum, SC. Ms. Smith was predeceased by a sister, Janie Anne Smith; and a brother, David Smith. Funeral services for be held today, Friday, November 27, 2009, at 3:00 PM at the Lanford Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Steve Christopher. Interment will follow in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
