WITTE Myrtle, age 91, of North Haledon, formerly of Midland Park, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Myrtle was born in Midland Park and lived there her entire life before moving to the Holland Christian Home in North Haledon five years ago. Her favorite pastimes were Gardening and quilting, she also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Myrtle was a member of the Covenant Christian Reformed Church in North Haledon. Surviving are her devoted children, Myrtle Teichmann, Richard Witte and his wife Beverly and her son-in-law William Terry. Myrtle also leaves her seven adoring grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Marinus "Pat" Witte in 1985 and her daughter Marilyn Patricia Terry in 2004. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Holland Christian Home, 151 Graham Avenue, North Haledon, NJ. Interment will follow in the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery. Visiting is Thursday 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ and Friday 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Holland Christian Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holland Christian Home.
