Myrtle Theresa Jackson, 88, died May 12, 2008, in Fort Pierce. She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to the St. Lucie area in 1986, coming from Columbia, Md. She served in the United States Women's Army Corps from 1943-1952. She was a member of American Legion Post 171 in Fort Pierce, National Association of Federal Employees, American Association of University Women, Democratic Women's Club of St. Lucie County, and AARP. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
