JORDAN, MYRTLE L., 86, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Indian Creek Nursing Home in Corydon, IN. Born March 4, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Penn Collins of Frankfort, KY. She was a retired book keeper and health care aide. She was a member of Eminence United Methodist Church in Eminence, KY. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jordan; a sister, Helen Collins Jordan; three brothers, Richard, Maurice and Harry Collins Jr. She is survived by a sister, Emma Collins Tipton of Ohio; a daughter, Kathleen Penn Penick of Corydon, IN; three grandchildren, Teresa Richards Kessinger of Sarasota, FL, Tracey Richards Cook (Dan) of Mauckport, IN, and Don Richards of Zanesville, OH; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville, IN, followed by burial in the Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort, KY. The Rev. Douglas Finney will officiate. Visitation will be held from noon -8 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2006 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tracey Cook, Dan Cook, Jordan Diebold, Don Richards, Phillip Richards, and David Sorg. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer's Association and Hospice of Southern Indiana.
