Myrtle H. White INMAN, SC-- Myrtle Hamrick White, 99, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2009. She was born on October 1, 1910 in Spartanburg County. She was the widow of William Boyce White. Mrs. White was the daughter of the late William "Doc" and Nancy Sarah Hamrick. She is survived by her daughter, Mildred White Perkins Fehl of Irmo, SC; and a son, Wallace F. White of Moore, SC. In addition, she has two granddaughters, one residing in Houston, TX and one residing in Inman. Her one grandson resides in Simpsonville, SC and her other grandson resides in Johnson City, TN. Mrs. White has seven great-grandchildren living in South Carolina and Texas. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marjorie Vaughn of Inman. Mrs. White was the oldest living member of the New Prospect Baptist Church where graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM officiated by Dr. Ron Gaddy.
