DAVIS Davis, Myrtle Esther, 78, of Vero Beach, FL died June 23, 2002 at Royal Palm Convalescent Center after a brief illness. She was born January 5, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to Vero Beach in 1983 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Vero Christian Church, Vero Beach, The Order of the Eastern Star and the Women Marines Association, Vero Beach. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Surviving are her daughter, Karen Davis of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Virginia Lenfestey of Greentree, PA and brother, Charles Baird of Vandergrift, PA. Friends may call from 7-9 PM, Wednesday at the Sistrunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Davis at a later date. Interment will be in Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay FL. In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to the charity of their choice in memory of Mrs. Davis.
