DAVIS - Myrtle Elizabeth (Anderson) Davis passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, August 31, 2007. Myrtle was born on May 20, 1916 and met her love, Herb on May 24, 1937. They married two years later on June 25, 1939. Myrtle will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Herb; her children Bruce, Reid (Linda) and Lynn (Warren); her grandchildren Darryn, Curt (Kelly), Glenda (Dave) and Andrea (Cory); and her great-grandchildren Jordan, Erin, Derek, Ryan, Jason, Lindsay, Jacob, Joy and Marci. Myrtle was the embodiment of all any family could wish for in a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Happiness for Myrtle was winters in San Diego, golfing, entertaining, dancing, baking, and trips to the beauty salon. Her greatest joy in life was sharing time and laughter with her family. The last five years of Myrtle's life were spent at Circle Drive Special Care Home where she was shown great love and care by their staff. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all staff members for the kindness shown to Myrtle and the entire family. The celebration of Myrtle's life will be held on Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 at McClure United Church (4025 Taylor Street, Saskatoon, SK) at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations in Myrtle's memory can be made to Circle Drive Special Care Home (3055 Preston Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7T 1C3).
